City Hall

Address
More London, Southwark

The 13 acre More London Development was acquired in 1998. Planning consent was granted for 2.8 million sq ft designed by Norman Foster.

The 200,000 sq ft GLA building was the first building to be let and completed on the site.

The development of the building used leading edge technology of the time, which included 650 windows, each of them unique.

George carried out the first appraisal on this project and handed the completed building over to HM the Queen and the  Mayor at the time, Ken Livingstone, 4 years later. It remains the only municipal building of its time completed on time and on budget.
